Hello everyone,
Happy New Year. Blwyddyn Newydd Dda. What a busy Term we have ahead of us.
Our topic for this term is Magic Moments. We are exploring the cold Arctic, looking after the birds in our garden and starting to learn Winter and seasonal songs.
Welcome to our new recruit! His name is Sam and he joins us in the afternoons.
We will continue cooking/food technology every Wednesday afternoon and  Show and Tell to continue on the Friday afternoons.
We are praying for snow so that we can build a snowman and /or throw snowballs at the staff!
If you visit us on a Friday morning you will have to search for the children! They are usually exploring inside the tent which magically transforms into a different location  every week. It is magic!!!!!!!.

Hello everyone,
We are all happy to see some sun and warmer weather. We have actually been out to our garden on our welly walk and not only planted bulbs but had a go on the slide also. Don't tell Mr Roberts!
We would like to welcome a new member to the class. His name is Joshua. He is five years old and is very jolly and happy.
Our topic for this term is living things. We hope to watch and grow tadpoles changing into frogs and plant beans and other seeds in our garden. Let's hope that we get lots of sunshine!.
What a busy week it's been. We took part in the sponsered cycle ride on Monday instead of our normal p.e. session. It was a lot more fun.
We hope to visit the local garden centre this term and are enjoying listening to stories about plants and the garden. Our favourite story is Jim and the beanstalk.
         Hwyl am y tro,
Mrs Bennell and dosbarth 13.

Hello followers,
Greetings from a very cold and wintry school. We shoudn't have planted those crocus and daffodil bulbs! Let's hope that the frost has been kind.
We are very busy in class . Our new pupils: Jess, Ben and Gethin are settling in and having taken part in the Christmas concert now look forward to singing an item in the school Eisteddfod on March 1st. Lots of practicing to follow.
Hopefully we can send home the bird seed cake this week. We must look after our garden birds !.
More updates to follow.
Keep warm and don't forget to look for pictures and books about Polar animals.

Happy sunny days.

Hello everyone,
We are still working hard in class 13. We really enjoyed World book day. Scott and Thomas dressed up as Buzzlightyear. William was a red Power ranger and Jago was a sweet little vampire. Conor enjoyed shooting everyone dressed as Woody from Toy story and Harley was Sonic the hedgehog. Braden came as himself but Mrs Parsons and Miss Pearce were minibeasts; a ladybird and a bee. Mrs Bennell was looking out for Robin Hood dressed as Maid Marian.
Show and tell will focus on minibeasts this term. We will be looking for volunteers for planting in our school garden and we have ordered new bikes and a slide for the yard. We're just waiting for the nice Summmer weather.
Hwyl Fawr,

Malwmbe everyone,

Hello  all,
Greetings to you all. What a busy few weeks we've had in school since Half Term.
A new boy Conor has joined us . He is starting to settle down.
We've had a few birthdays this term.Scott is now seven and William celebrated his birthday last month.
We've also had a new Speechtherapist. Her name is Ms McGuire and the children really like her. She is working hard with your child. We all enjoyed taking part in the school Eisteddfod and both Jago and Braden have started integrating in year 1 classes. Year 2 children are off to the Newport wetlands tomorrow.
As the weather is improving we will be starting to tidy our garden and plant vegetables ready for the Summer.
Watch out parents I will be asking for help in the garden soon!
On Friday we are having a Ugandan Assembly. Your child has enjoyed listening to my tales of Sikusi school and particularly enjoyed looking at the photographs.
A fund raising evening will be held in June. Watch out for the date.
Once again I would like to thank you for the support you gave me before leaving for Uganda and your kind donations.
Thankyou for your continued support during Open Evening. Once againg we were running overtime, thus I'd like to thank you for your patience.
Have a lovely Easter and don't eat too many chocolate eggs.
